As a team of Breast Cancer Survivors, we are reminded of the countless individuals and families affected by this devastating disease. At Broward Fierce Fighters (BFF), a 501(c)(3) Florida not-for-profit organization founded in October 2016, we are committed to creating a community where no one faces breast cancer alone.

BFF’s mission is focused on breast health awareness and the well-being of breast cancer survivors. We pride ourselves on being a source of light and hope for Breast Cancer Survivors by raising awareness and educating our younger under-40 community about breast health. We serve as role models and mentors to breast cancer survivors, raise funds for breast cancer services, and promote a healthy, active lifestyle, through dragon boating.

Survivors increase fitness levels by being physically active and feeling a sense of well-being and empowerment, which are important elements to minimize recurrence. Our organization provides a strong support group that cultivates friendship and sisterhood while having fun and working on our chest muscles to ease mobility and flexibility.

Thanks to your support, we will make significant strides in breast cancer rehabilitation, education, and patient support. Our work continues to be the utmost importance for the well-being of BC survivors.
